There are concerns that Tipperary County Council will not get vital emergency funding to tackle damage caused to roads earlier this year.

The local authority has applied to the Government for financial aid to carry out vital repairs to roads right across the county.

Councillor Imelda Goldsboro raised the issue at this months meeting of Carrick on Suir Municipal District.

The Fianna Fáil representative says unless funds are forthcoming soon it will be too late to carry out much needed repairs.
