Burst main water supply leaves Tipperary homes without water

Hundreds of households in South Tipperary are without water this lunchtime after a water main burst.

The break happened in Clogheen and is affecting users across the Clonmel and Cahir area including Ardfinnan, Grange, Knocklofty, Loughloher, Marlfield, Poulmucka, Lisronagh, Clerihan, and Rosegreen.

Irish water says its crews are working to restore supply but there is no estimated timeline for re-connection.

There are also burst water mains in Thurles and Killenaule this afternoon.
