Budget boost for Tipperary Garda College.

Under Budget 2015 the Justice Minister says a hundred of the new officers will enter the Garda College in December with the remainder starting in January.

Frances Fitzgerald also announced an additional €10 million for the garda fleet, most of which is to be spent on marked garda cars for high visibility policing.

Her colleague and Tipperary TD Noel Coonan says it's great news for the town of Templemore as it will provide jobs in the local economy as well as securing the future of the college.
