The six hour visit will take in Donegal Castle, Magees Tweed factory and Letterkenny IT, as well as Glenveagh National Park.
The visit is seen as a continued normalisation of British-Irish relations, and builds on their visit last year to Sligo.
Donegal is set to be showcased as a tourist destination with British and international coverage expected.
