After nearly a year long wait Thurles Swimming Pool has reopened to the public.
The facility in the Mid Tipp town has been shut for almost a year after tiles began lifting from the base of the pool last May.
Repair work was then delayed several times due to a number of issues including incorrect replacement tiling.
The doors of the leisure facility opened at 7 this morning and duty manager Serena Nalty expects a very busy few days ahead.
