Gardaí are at the scene of what they are describing as a serious road traffic incident in county Tipperary.
The incident occurred early this afternoon on the Templemore to Thurles road in the vicinity of Templemore Golf Club.
The road has been closed and whilst diversions are in place, Gardaí are asking road users to avoid the area.
The road is expected to be closed for a number of hours.
