Tipp Today – Thursday December 14th 2017

In the first hour of this mornings Tipp Today, Fran spoke to a couple of our listeners; Phillip wanted to talk about the arrogance being shown by the HSE in relation to the availability of vital drugs for people with serious illness in the wake of the death of Nenagh woman Marion Kelly, we spoke to Jude about the 8th amendment and his views on abortion, we also spoke to TD Mattie McGrath who has been criticised for his comments about the chair of the committee reviewing the 8th Amendment.

n the second hour of this mornings Tipp Today, we spoke to another listener, Matthew wanted to talk about how funding in other Departments could be used for the payment of vital drugs. He singled out Free Legal aid and said it should be scrapped to free up money. We spoke to SuperIntendant Willie Leahy about driver and pedestrian safety in the run up to Christmas and he had info on some recent incidents which are being investigated. We had our weekly wine slot with Gary Gubbins from Red Nose wine and we spoke to Rita Burke and Simon Molloy who are organising the Santa Dash in Clonmel which is being organised by the South Tipperary Mental Health Consumer Panel.

In the final hour of todays show we had our wine slot with Gary Gubbins from Red Nose wine, we had our weekly vet slot with Mairead from Arra vets who answered many listener questions this morning and we spoke to local people in Ardfinnan about controversial plans for the bridge.
