Forecasters are playing down reports that Hurricane Gert is going to hit Ireland.
The tail end of the storm is expected to pass over the country in the next few days.
A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo, to come into effect from 4pm.
However Met Eireann’s Deirdre Lowe says it’ll bring blustery showers at worst to most of the country.
