Damages awarded to Tipperary man injured in crash.

 

 

A Tipperary man who has difficulty kneeling as a result of injuries suffered in a car crash has been awarded damages by the High Court.

Michael Hogan of Knockalton, Nenagh had sued Edmund Ryan of Dualla, Cashel as a result of the crash which happened in September of 2008.

The injured party is a welder by trade – he was dozing in the back seat of a van being driven by another person when the crash involving the defendant’s car happened.

39 year old Michael Hogan suffered knee and back injuries in the collision.

The case was before Ms Justice O'Malley for assessment of damages – she awarded a total of €158,000.
