The imminent closure of 5 Tipperary Post Offices has been described as ‘one attack too far on rural people.’
Ballingarry, Templetouhy, Gortnahoe, Littleton and Clogheen are those set to shut their doors.
A community meeting was held in Ballingarry last night to discuss the issue, following the meeting heldin Clogheen earlier in the week.
Cllr Imelda Goldsboro says that losing the facility would have a devastating effect on the community.
But she says this is only the beginning of a larger scale down of post offices around the country…
