World adjusting to new US President

The world is adjusting to the prospect of Donald Trump as US President. 

The new leader of the free world has been calling the leaders of other countries.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny held a ten minute call with Donald Trump last night. 

He said he tried to get across a number of issues important to Ireland. 

After a vitriolic campaign by the Republican many are finding his victory hard to stomach. 

But Minister Simon Coveney says we have to work with him.

However a number of high profile Republicans had already distanced themselves from the billionaire during his election campaign.

The likes of Newt Gingrich and Rudi Giuliani are being tipped to take prominent positions in the new line-up.
