Works to improve water drainage will take place on both the M7, between Junction 22 and 24 and on the M8 between Cahir and Mitchelstown next month.
Funding for the projects will come from the NRA…work on the M7 will be three day closures in October while the M8 closures will run for two and three week periods in November.
Marcus O'Connor, Senior Roads Engineer with Tipperary County Council says that the work will improve driving conditions, especially in bad weather.
