Residents of the West Tipperary village of Dundrum are coming to terms with the death of a young baby.
The 7 month old girl was found unresponsive in a car at around 1.30pm this afternoon near the O’Dwyer Steel plant.
It’s understood she may have been in the car for a number of hours.
The baby was airlifted to University Hospital Limerick where she later passed away.
Gardaí are investigating but it’s understood the death was a tragic accident.
