The Sunday Times is reporting that he spent €5,780 of his Dáil allowance on entertainment in his own chain of Italian restaurants and bars.
The newspaper reports the Wexford TD also used his parliamentary activities allowance to pay his son nearly € 15,000 for research and € 4,500 for policy formulation.
