A new study says Sex Education in Ireland needs to be updated to reflect social change.
The report from the University of Bristol has found that sex education can be negative and out of touch – and schools appear to have difficulty accepting that some young people are sexually active.
Students from ten different countries, including Ireland, were surveyed – and most reported feeling vulnerable and embarrassed in sex and relationship classes.
