UK Parliament to pay tribute to murdered MP

In the UK, the man accused of killing MP Jo Cox is due in court later.

52-year-old Thomas Mair is due before the Old Bailey charged with her murder.

On Saturday, he gave his name as 'death to traitors, freedom for Britain' when he appeared before magistrates.

Meanwhile politicians will return to Westminster later to pay tribute to the Labour MP, who was killed in her constituency in West Yorkshire on Thursday.

They will then attend a short memorial service in St Margaret's Church.

It had been suggested that MPs from different parties might sit together when they appear in the Commons later as a sign of unity.
