Two people remain in hospital this morning following a fatal crash on the M8 motorway in Tipperary.
A woman in her 20s died in the collision, involving a car and a truck between Junction 10 and 9 on the northbound lane of the motorway around 12.30 yesterday afternoon.
The victim was a backseat passenger in the car, two other women travelling in the front of the car, both in their 50s were seriously injured in the crash and taken to South Tipp General and University Hospital in Limerick for treatment.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Gardaí in Cahir are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
