Two men are still in custody as part of a Garda investigation into the Kinahan crime gang in Dublin.

Officers seized documents and discovered over 300-thousand-euro in cash following the planned search of a house in the Sandyford area of Dublin and a follow up search in Clondalkin on Thursday.

Gardai also discovered cash counting and packaging equipment.

Two men – both in their 30s – are being held at Clondalkin Garda Station.

The Garda Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan has described the development as a significant breakthrough which will help dismantle the Kinahan crime gang.
