It comes less than a month after a failed military coup in Turkey.
It's the first meeting between the two since Turkey downed a Russian fighter jet near the Syrian border almost 9 months ago.
The two leaders will discuss bilateral relations, counter terrorism measures and the ongoing crisis in Syria.
