In a statement his publicist says the Two Ronnie’s' star was surrounded by his family when he passed away this morning.
He also starred in sitcoms including “Sorry”.
In tributes he's been described as a 'legend', 'brilliant and funny', and 'one of the true greats of British comedy'.
