Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the M7 near Nenagh.
The single vehicle crash happened within the last half an hour – at this stage there is no report on injuries.
The motorway will be closed for a time northbound from Junction 24 to Junction 23 with diversions in place.
Gardai in Nenagh are advising caution on all routes as roads are very with with spot flooding in places.
Driving conditions across the county are said to be treacherous following heavy rain.
