It's all part of a movement to rejuvenate communities in the North Tipperary town which have been ravaged by unemployment, drugs and anti social behaviour.
Roscrea Stands Up is planning to make contact with OPW and NRA officals to boost signage on the M7, while Environment Minister Alan Kelly is looking into boosting the profile of the local castle.
There are also proposals for wallking and cycyling routes, which Minister Kelly says could generate both jobs and money for the local economy.
