Tipperary to turn orange for Cycle Against Suicide

Hundreds of cyclists arrived in Roscrea yesterday evening for the final leg of Day 9…they spent the night with local families in the North Tipp town and will set off at 10.30 this morning.

They will travel to St. Joseph’s College, Borrisoleigh via Templemore, arriving at 1 o'clock….after a short break, they will leave Borrisoleigh at 2:30pm and travel throughout the afternoon to Dundrum and then to St. Anne’s Secondary School, Tipperary Town, where they will arrive at 5:30pm before once again, staying with locals.

The cycle is in its fourth year and takes place over 14 days, finishing up in Dublin on May 7th

Over 800 people die by suicide in Ireland each year and the message is 'it's OK not to feel OK'.

Tipp FM's Tipp Today will be broadcasting live from Roscrea this morning from 9 to 12.
