Tipperary to get 10 new Gardaí

Extra Gardaí have been assigned to the Tipperary Division.

10 members of the force will be joining the ranks in the Premier County over the coming months.

They will be split equally between the Nenagh and Clonmel Districts.

It's the second allocation of new graduates from the Templemore Training College, five new members have already been assigned to Thurles. 

Chief Superintendent in the Tipperary Division Catherine Kehoe says she is anxious to get these new Gardaí put to good use in their local areas.
