The Tipperary TD was speaking in the Dail today in the wake of revelations this week that hospital waiting lists could be up to 60% longer that was being officially acknowledged.
Independent Deputy McGrath says he's been told by successive Taoisigh and Health Ministers that the HSE should be shut down.
He says the latest scandal, along with the situation surrounding the underuse of Our Lady’s Hospital in Cashel, proves this point.
