A Tipperary woman is celebrating after her brown bread rose to the top at the National Ploughing Championship.
Betty Williams from Rathkeevin – who is president of the local ICA – saw off 3 other finalists to take the top prize in County Laois yesterday.
Her best baking efforts secured her a €2,000 Aldi voucher and Taoiseach Enda Kenny was on hand to present her with her prize.
