Tipperary resident ordered to stay out of Donegal.

A Tipperary resident has been banned from County Donegal following a spate of thefts.

Karl Lydon from The Orchard, Friar Street in Thurles was arrested following robberies from five cars at the weekend.

i-Phones, laptops and bottles of holy water were stolen from the cars – Lydon was arrested by Gardai in Ballybofey within hours of Saturday's robberies.

He has since appeared before Letterkenny District Court where Judge Paul Kelly imposed a night-time curfew and ordered the 24 year old to sign on at Thurles Garda station three times a week.

Karl Lydon has also been told not to enter Donegal until his next court appearance on March 10th.

All of the stolen property has been returned to the owners.
