Tipperary rents continue to rise

Rents across Tipperary have soared but are still way behind the national average.

New figures from property website Daft.ie show that rents in the Premier were on average 6.2 percent higher in third quarter of this year, compared to the same three months last year.

The stats show the average here in the county is now over 660 euro – which is also up 18 percent from their lowest point.

Nationwide rents rose by 11.7% which is the largest annual hike ever recorded in the Daft.ie report which started in 2002.
