Tipperary Garda Youth Awards launched

Applications for the inaugural awards are now open for nominations of young people from 13 to 19 to acknowledge their contribution to their local communities. 

Tipperary Gardaí will present the awards at a ceremony in April at the Garda College in Templemore…the closing date for applications is 4th of March. 

Forms are available at the divisional stations in Nenagh, Thurles, Cahir, Clonmel and Tipperary town. 

A judging panel, which includes former Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins, Una Foden and Circuit Court judge Gerard O'Brien will decide the winners.
