Tipperary FF TD says party is ‘open to options’ for Government

The Dáil is sitting for the second time today since the General Election, however there are no signals that a new Government is close to being agreed.

The house is due to debate the housing and homelessness crisis along with updates from Enda Kenny on recent EU summits on the refugee crisis.

Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin has come in for criticism for 'going to ground', however, Tipperary TD Jackie Cahill says his party leader is holding discussions with all parties and can't conduct negotiations in the public eye.

But Independent deputy Mattie McGrath says from his dealings with Fianna Fail, they don't seem to be in a hurry to secure support for a new Government.
