Tipperary car enthusiasts in for a weekend treat.

Around 80 cars will be taking part with the oldest being a 1909 Minerva.

Among the more unusual entrants is a 1956 Mercedes soft-top which was used to collect Ronnie Delaney from Shannon Airport after his gold medal win at the Melbourne Olympics.

Also taking part in the run will be a 1939 Peugeot 202 which was used in World War 2.

The cars will leave the Clonmel Park Hotel at 11 on Saturday morning and head for Carrick on Suir before making their way through Kilkenny for an overnight stop in Carlow.

Now in its 55th year the run will arrive back in Kilsheelan on Sunday afternoon.
