Tipperary cafe shut down over Health & Safety breaches

Culleton's restaurant/cafe on Main Street, Bansha was found to be in breach of EC Official Control of Foodstuffs Regulations, 2010.

The closure order was issued by the HSE on February 17th and lifted on February 28th.

In all two take-aways and three cafés serving a range of dishes from fish and chips to Mexican cuisine were served with closure orders in February.

The Food Safety Authority, the FSAI, says time and time again their inspectors are encountering basic errors which are easily avoidable.
