Significant work is to be carried out in Rosegreen thanks to the efforts of the local Tidy Towns Committee.
Over €25,000 is being allocated for works in the village by the local council.
Each Tidy Towns Committee in the Carrick on Suir Municipal District has already been given €1,000 towards their endeavours.
The council then asked each area to identify other projects which the local authority could carry out to improve the area’s performance in the National Tidy Towns competition.
Cathaoirleach Louise McLoughlin says the money will be put to good use.
