Injury claims are said to be a significant problem for Tipperary County Council as a direct result of the deplorable conditions of some of our roads and footpaths.

At this months meeting of the local authority Fianna Fail Councillor John Hogan said many claims have been submitted in recent years as a result of injuries caused by the poor infrastructure.

Following a call from Sinn Féin’s David Doran a meeting has been arranged with Transport Infastructure Ireland to raise the councils concerns.

Councillor John Hogan says the local authority are doing everything they can to secure more funding to carry out necessary works.
