Tipp victim scepticism to extra measures on targeting crime

The Justice Minister has pledged an extra 500 gardaí for Templemore next year, says the garda fleet is being bolstered and insists new legislation will lead to longer sentences for convicted roving gangs.  

However in parts of Mid Tipp which has been repeatedly targeted in recent years feel it’s a little too late
