Over 150 companies will attend the finals in Dublin later this month for the annual awards.
In the queue for the Best Forecourt Retailer in Ireland for Hygiene and Food Safety is Shanahan's Centra in Borrisoleigh.
The Q Mark is awarded to companies who achieve the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Shanahan's – who have 17 staff in all – won a Sapphire Q Mark award in 2013 and are hoping to better that with an Emerald award this time round.
