The organisers say it will go ahead despite assurances given to local Junior Minister John Halligan that a mobile cath lab will be in place at Waterford University Hospital within weeks.
The march is set to start at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Ballybricken
Tipperary Labour Senator Denis Landy says this mobile unit will not address the lack of 24/7 cardiac services for the south east.
