Tipp IFA expresses fresh concerns over below cost selling

The comments from North Tipperary IFA chairman Tim Cullinane come in the wake of a survey on public attitudes to below cost selling.

The Agri-Aware report showed that almost 9 out of 10 people are in favour of legislation to ensure farmers receive a fair price from supermarkets.

Tim Cullinane claims farmers in Tipperary and across the country are suffering because of the supermarket price-war – he says the attack on the agriculture industry could lead to significant job losses.
