Tipp hurling fans told to use park and ride

With thousands of fans expected to flock to the Gaelic Grounds for the games, traffic restrictions have been put in place which will mean there will be no parking near the stadium.

There are park and ride areas in Mungret, the Ballysimon road, the Limerick dog track and in Castletroy which supporters are being advised to use.

Sergeant John Flanagan of Henry Street Garda Station says if match-goers park illegally their car could be towed away.
