Tipp Co Co accused of not co-operating with elected members

It follows the apparent refusal of the local authority to supply a breakdown of the roads for which emergency funding was sought in the wake of the Christmas and New Year storms.

The Council applied to the Government for just over €9 million of which €5 million was granted.

However Sinn Fein's Seamie Morris says despite seeking a full list of the roads in question on at least two occasions it has not been forthcoming.

He is now threatening to take matters further to force the council to give him the information.
