Tipp bound for All Ireland Clash with the Cats.

Michael Ryan's side overcame Galway in a very tight affair at Croke Park today with just one point in it in the end.

The introduction of John “Bubbles O'Dwyer proved crucial for the Premier scoring a goal nine minutes from time followed by a second from John McGrath just minutes later.

Galway suffered a double blow when Joe Canning and Adrian Tuohy were both injured and played no part in the second half.

Tipp's two goals in the latter stages of the game proved to be the impetus needed and they held on to record a 2-19 to 2-18 victory over the Tribesmen.

They will now go on to play Kilkenny in the final on September 4th
