Farmers from across Tipperary are expected to converge in Nenagh later this morning for a protest rally.
Up to 300 farmers are expected to attend the action at the ABP factory in the town as part of a row over prices for cattle.
The Irish Farmer's Association say that prices for cattle have fallen by between 30 and 50 cent a kilo since the middle of December….around 200 euro a head.
The protest today will get underway at 11.30.
North Tipp IFA Chairman Phillip Kinnane says that farmers are making a loss on their animals now.
