Tipp train services described as inadequte

There are calls for Iarnroid Eirinn to put on more trains to meet demand for services in Tipperary.

This follows criticism about the Thurles to Dublin service with many passengers forced to stand in cramped conditions.

experienced by commuters last week.

Reacting to criticism of the services, Barry Kenny from Iarnroid Eirinn says they are running at full capacity and using all available trains but investment is badly needed in order to bring the service in line with current demand.
