Three in custody following drug seizures in Carlow and Dublin.

At about 11 o'clock yesterday morning Gardaí conducted a planned search of a property in Graiguecullen in Carlow.

They uncovered Pentedrone with an estimated value of €20,000 together with a gun and ammunition.

A 49 year old man was arrested at scene and is currently detained at Carlow Garda Station.

Meanwhile in a separate operation in West Dublin Gardaí have seized half a million Euro worth of cocaine.

The discovery was made during the search of a vehicle in Ballyfermot yesterday afternoon – and a follow up search of a premises in the Dublin 20 area was carried out

Two men – aged 34 and 55 – were arrested in connection with the find and are currently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
