Three motorcyclists killed in 24 hours

Three motorcyclists have been killed in separate road crashes over the past 24 hours.

Investigations in to the unconnected collisions are continuing this morning.

 

A man in his 30’s was killed after a crash in Dublin this morning.

The single vehicle crash happened at the Old Cabra Road at around 2.20am, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene while the pillion passenger, a man in his 40s was also seriously injured in the crash.

In Limerick, two men died in separate motorbike crashes last night.

A man in his twenties died after his motorbike left the road at O’Malley Park at around 20 to 8.00 last night.

Separately a man in his 50s was seriously injured when his motorbike, hit a roundabout at Quinn’s Cross, he was taken to University Hospital Limerick and pronounced dead shortly after arrival .

Anyone who may have witnesses any of the accidents is asked to contact Gardai.
