Templemore flood relief plans go on public display.

The Office of Public Works is opening its plans for the scheme up to public consultation this afternoon at the Town Hall from 2pm until 8pm.

The multi-million Euro project involves constructing a bypass that will take the overflow from the river – effectively a second channel through the town.

Fine Gael election hopeful and former Templemore mayor Maire Byrne is encouraging people to view the plans.
