Enda Kenny's insisting he doesn't want to do or say anything that cuts across the work of the Commission of Investigation or the Coroner in Galway.
There are calls for the Commission of Investigation to expand it's remit to include other homes like Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea.
Mr Kenny says the first concern is for those who are alive and lost loved ones in these homes.
