Tánaiste to update Cabinet on breath test controversy

Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan says an internal investigation will get to the bottom of how figures were exaggerated by almost a million, and insists she will stay in her position to continue a programme of reform.

Tánaiste and Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald will update her ministerial colleagues on the situation today.

Opposition parties are still deciding on how they'll respond to a motion being put forward in the Dáil by Sinn Féin calling on the government to sack the Commissioner.
