SIPTU welcome Labour Court intervention in Luas row

The body will meet with the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and tram operator Transdev next week over the row. 

It follows the 12th day of strike action yesterday – which brought the capital to a halt and discommoded 100,000 commuters. 

In a meeting last night – SIPTU agreed to support shop stewards – if the row escalates.

The union's Owen Reidy says that while the drivers are frustrated – they stand determined
