Shane Ross has initially rejected the request for a delegation to meet with him over funding for the county's deteriorating roads- citing a busy diary adding monies for 2016 had been allocated.
However following intervention by Tipp TD Mattie McGrath the Minister has agreed to a sit down with local authority reps.
Clr Martin Lonergan says he had fellow representative Richie Molloy had contacted Deputy McGrath to take up their cause.
